Day 99 – Love Japan

Of all the One Green Elephant shirts I have, this is the one with the cutest geisha. The shirt reminds me of old Asian movie posters, which is awesome. I also like the fact that the print continues to the back of the shirt.

But what I like the most is the fact that the words on the front seem to be Japanese katakana at first. A second glance reveals that they actually spell “Love Japan.” That’s so clever. 🙂

While I was quite successful in not ordering new shirts for quite some time now (I ordered the last almost two months ago on day 60!), today I finally gave in and ordered four(!) new shirts. *sigh*

Day 91 – Dramatic Geisha

This One Green Elephant shirt combines a tunic like form with a print inspired by classical Japanese artwork. Makes for a very dramatic effect.

On the back only a small logo this time. Very stylish.

By now it should be clear that a have a thing for Japanese designs. This shirt with the vintage tattoo like geisha and the cherry blossoms is from the US fashion label Steady.

Day 62 – Geishas, Fans & Cherry Blossoms 2.0

Again a design I have in two versions. We already saw it on day 23. The grey, pink, and white makes this One Green Elephant shirt more elegant as the one with the brilliant colours. Me personally, I like them both.

Day 31 – Chibi Geisha

I love this chibi geisha design from One Green Elephant. But again … rhinestones and many of them. The good thing is: They tend to fall of when you wash the shirt.

Day 23 – Geishas, Fans & Cherry Blossoms

Another One Green Elephant shirt, I really like that label. The design with its brilliant colours, the classical geishas, cherry blossom, Japanese letters, and fans is simply wonderful. I could do without the rhinestones on the front but the design on the back makes up for that big time.

Day 10 – Geisha in Grey and Bordeaux

I love Japanese designs. This shirt from the “Love Japan” line of the Japanese brand One Green Elephant is absolutely gorgeous! The geisha and fan design in combination with the grey and bordeaux colours is elegant and beautiful. What I really like about the One Green Elephant designs is that the back of the shirt is always something special too.

In addition the high quality workmanship on these shirts always astounds me. There are the very typical rhinestones, a silvery print, and the bordeaux parts on the front that are embroidery.
