The second shirt I got from Qwertee‘s InsaniTEE Sale is as awesome as the first one I wore on day 100. It shows the minions from “Despicable Me” meddling with Doctor Who’s Tardis and sonic screwdriver. It’s a little worrisome to imagine what they will do with it.

The “Bad Wolf” story arch was one of my favourite story archs in Doctor Who ever, although I’m not a big fan of the character Rose Tyler. But “Bad Wolf” combined with Art Nouveau art style and I’m sold.

This shirt was my reason to sign up with Qwertee. Again a design that is classical and reveals its geekiness only at a second glance. The Gallifrey University is of course a reference to Doctor Who.

Qwertee again, the first shirt I ever got from this site. The Tardis van Gogh style is a reference to one of the best Doctor Who episodes ever: “Vincent and the Doctor”
I had to get this as I’m a big van Gogh fan. I was lucky enough to see “The Starry Night” and several others of his paintings in person and I was always very moved by them. I did not want to sign up for Qwertee knowing that I would order lots of shirts, so I asked a friend to add one for me to his order.

I started the challenge with a J!nx shirt. I like the designs you can find in the J!nx shop. They are geeky and funny and often elegant in addition to that. You will see a lot of geeky shirts here. I’m a geek and a nerd and I work in the games industry.
Unfortunately J!nx only ships from the US which makes shipping costs pretty high. Most of the time you have to deal with (and pay) customs too. If you want to order there despite that, I have one tip for you: Use the US shop, especially if you live in Europe. They translate 1 dollar to 1 euro for their European shops. Buying from the US shop will save you the money you will have to pay for customs.
This shirt is a reference to one of the creepiest Doctor Who episodes ever: “Blink.” Watch here why it is really important that you don’t blink.
I totally love the J!nx logo that is printed on the back of this shirt.
